For those of you who are new to selling and shipping fiddleheads into the United States, Ruma Fruit & Produce has created a list of paperwork that needs to be provided to customs when shipping fiddleheads over the US/CANADA border.

Please be advised that both forms are required at every border crossing into the United States.

1500 lbs of Fiddleheads in Boston, MA

Early this morning, we received over 1500 lbs of fiddlehead ferns. These fiddleheads came from just over the Vermont border in Canada. They are definitely fresh ferns and have already been washed, packed, and ready to deliver. For bulk fiddlehead buyers, the fiddlehead price for Friday May 2, 2008 is $5.70/lb. This fiddlehead price is based on 10 lb bags. Minimum order for fiddleheads is 10 lbs.
